- About Me:
- B.A and M.A. in Theatre Arts at Bretton Hall and Goldsmiths College. Trained with The Grotowski Company, Laboratory Theatre of Manipur and Capoeira Senzala de Santos. Worked in theatre / dance as a performer, director and workshop provider for last 25 years. Including with, David Glass, Peta Lily, Nike, Groove Armada, Moloko, Ocean Color Scene, Volcano Theatre Company, Mill Stream, Kokuma, Ludas, Vim Vanderkeybus and Ultima Vez, Singapore Contemporary, Lismore Contemporary, Pan Projects, Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. Artistic Director of Urban Expansions Limited 1999 - 2006. Devising, directing and touring 'Once Upon A Time In Wigan' in collaboration with Contact Theatre.
Appeared in Emmerdale, Londons Burning, Bill, Miners Strike, Casualty, Doctors and as 'TUFF' in Shane Meadows film 'Dead Man's Shoes'.
Presently choreographing on new feature film 'Function At The Junction' and devising a new play in a collaboration between DANCE OFFENSIVE, The Junction and Manchesters CONTACT Theatre, called 'OLGA'.

IN November 2009 received 2 Justice Awrds for work with young people and performed at Westminster to Home Secretary and Attorney General amongst others.

What is SANe?
Think of SANe as a meta- network, an adhocracy, for people, organisations and other networks that are working in the field of arts and social action. The only requirement for joining SANe is that you have an interest in the arts as a means for raising awareness: a way of groping towards a social mind.

Visit the SANe bookstore for a great range of books on socially inclusive arts. A percentage of any book sale made through SANe is donated to Escape Artists (UK registered charity no. 1086004) and helps to pay for the costs of managing this network.
