You'll do great, don't worry! It is far, but you'll be amazed at the resilience of the mind and body when it really comes down to it. But when the weather gets warmer, we'll start walking to where you change before hopping on the tube home...

'Recently, I met an offender on an enhanced wing – the enhanced bit meaning that he has been on a few courses and ticked a few boxes. He was furious because, due for release soon, he had been classified as a prolific or other priority offender (PPO).
"So, that means you've committed the same crime over and over again?" I asked. He was proud that he was indeed a career criminal. He was 45, and had spent 10 years in jail for repeat offending. He was resentful that, although he was soon to be rele… Continue

Hidden in many investment, pension and insurance policies are charges that can be claimed by an adviser. If you don't have an adviser for your policy, you're paying for something and getting nothing. Your money stays with the financial institution and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Cleversquirrel reclaims these charges and donates them to your chosen charity, making the most of money you've already paid. All it takes is one signature from you. Charities Trust, a national donation management ag… Continue
IQ Questionnaire for my Psychology research study. It's only 6 simple questions, so if you have 5 minutes to respond, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
The effectiveness of charities is being hindered by the reluctance of foundations and major donors to make grants to support their core functions, according to a new report from the I… Continue
Hi Jen, welcome to the Social Arts Network and thanks for joining! Our primary goal with the network is to help artists around the world meet, and to inspire each other and encourage everyone to keep creating their good works. Thanks to great people like you, we have been growing into an extensive global network of active arts practitioners.
As you may already know, the network is managed by Escape Artists’ and is open to everyone. Invite any friends you may have in the arts, or anyone that you may know who would have an active participatory interest in joining the Social Arts Network. Use the "Advanced Search" option when searching the network for other members in your field and/or area. We hope that you will connect with many of the members within the worldwide arts community here.
The Social Arts Network uses, and is built on, a platform similar to other well-known social networks such as MySpace, Facebook and YouTube. Any issues you may have using the networks many features, you can simply click the "Report an Issue" button at the bottom left corner of the screen and send you concern.
Share samples of your works by uploading photos, videos, music, training materials and/or start your own forum or group. Have fun and enjoy!!!
Think of SANe as a meta- network, an adhocracy, for people, organisations and other networks that are working in the field of arts and social action. The only requirement for joining SANe is that you have an interest in the arts as a means for raising awareness: a way of groping towards a social mind.
SANe is supported by the Syd Barrett Fund which, amongst other things, is working towards the creation of the Syd Barrett Social Arts Centre in Cambridge, UK. More...
Our next fundraising event will be a walk from London to Cambridge. Want to come along? Find out more...
SANe, the Social Arts Network, exists to facilitate communication between people who are interested in the development of socially inclusive arts practice, services, exhibitions and productions. The network is managed by
Escape Artists but it is open to everyone. Please feel free to upload your photos, videos, music and research papers, or to start your own forum or group.
It's a good idea to put your photos into an album as soon as you upload them; it makes them easier to find and gives them a context. And we'd be grateful if everyone could add either a picture of themselves or a company logo to their profile. SANe Books
Visit the SANe bookstore for a great range of books on socially inclusive arts. A percentage of any book sale made through SANe is donated to Escape Artists (UK registered charity no. 1086004) and helps to pay for the costs of managing this network.
Recommend books that you think other SANe members might be interested in.
